As an intentionally small and nimble studio, we adapt to your needs, be it a few hours of consultation or twelve-plus months of comprehensive design and construction administration.

These are general examples of projects to illustrate the range in which we might collaborate. We customize the scope of work to your specific project, however.

Consultation

If you’re ready to update or transform your outdoor space but lack a clear starting point or vision, or you’ve already begun but could use support, investing in a few hours or a sessions of consultation goes a long way to setting up or completing a successful project.

Deliverables could include:

  • Audit your existing landscape; determine what’s worth preserving.

  • Discuss the layout, flow and contents of your space, the challenges and opportunities.

  • Suggest updates and additions, begin to outline a future project.

  • On-site layout of plants you’ve already sourced.

DIY (ish)

Whether the project is on the smaller side and you plan to get your hands dirty or you intend to hire and manage a contractor yourself, I’ll tailor the scope and final deliverables to accommodate you doing some or all of the work.

Deliverables could include:

  • Preliminary / Concept Design - establish the big idea(s)

  • Design Development / Construction Docs - provide you the drawings and info you need to build and care for your space.

Hands Off - Concept to Completion

If you plan to hire out the entire project, regardless of size, the scope can include phases of construction - recommending, selecting and managing contractors, sourcing plants…
